Meet Amber Saldivar

Online and In-Person Mental Health Counseling in Washington State

Hello! I’m Amber. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in the intersection of mind-body healing, chronic symptom recovery, and trauma. I am passionate about equipping YOU with strategies that honor your body’s innate capacity for healing. I believe that you already have so many of the answers you need inside of you: my job is to help you draw them out.

Drawing from my 12 years as a therapist, extensive training, and personal experience with chronic symptoms, I am here to help you develop practical tools to regulate your nervous system, restore a sense of safety, and reconnect with life beyond illness. Ultimately, my goal is for you to experience more freedom, joy, and healing than ever before. I am very patient and will go at your pace. At the same time, I am incredibly persistent and refuse to give up on looking for answers to address your specific situation.

Our Work Together

I see you as a whole person--so much more than your chronic condition, disability, or injury. You have hopes and fears, joy and grief, relationships and hobbies and other areas of interest. Your symptoms are not all of who you are--far from it!

I value coming alongside you and seeing you as the expert on yourself. You are the one who can make changes in your life, and I am here to support you in that process.

Virtual and In-Person Sessions are Available!

Land Acknowledgement

My practice is located on the traditional homelands of the Snohomish people, a Coast Salish nation who have cared for these lands since time immemorial. I also recognize the Stillaguamish people, whose ancestral territory encompasses this region.

As a trauma-informed practice rooted in community care, I acknowledge that the history of this land includes displacement, violence, and ongoing systemic harm to Indigenous peoples. I honor the enduring stewardship of Indigenous communities and recognize that true healing requires truth-telling about the past and present.

I am committed to ongoing learning and growth in anti-racist practices, including supporting Indigenous sovereignty and amplifying Indigenous voices. This acknowledgment is one part of a sustained commitment toward ongoing education, accountability, and action. I invite you to learn more about the Snohomish Tribe of Indians and the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, and to support their ongoing work.
